OUR STORY
Bag Therapy was born from founder Lucys love of bags.
After a career in textiles, fashion and design, Lucy took everything she loved about her favourite bags and distilled that magic into her first collection for Bag Therapy; to create, a small, yet perfectly formed collection of modern leather bags.
All our bags are designed and handmade in England.
We believe in craftsmanship and sustainability.
We design in our Brighton studio and then handmade in Somerset, by a team of skilled leather workers using beautiful vegetable tanned leathers.
Every part of the creative process and subsequent manufacture is very hands-on ensuring what we produce is of the highest quality.
OUR VALUES
Our bags are ethically made & eco friendly.
We have made it our business to design and manufacture here in the UK.
Our leather is produced by a long established family run tannery who specialise in the art of vegetable tanned leather.
A tannery which hold both its products and the environment with equal importance, upholding the environmental regulations of the ‘Pelle Vegetale Consortium’ of which the Tannery is a founding member.
We use high quality veg tanned leather to make bags that will last and operate as close to zero waste as we can, all our leather off cuts are reused to create our tags.
